    Mexican Riviera excursions

We will be on the Carnival Pride, Mexican Riviera, sailing May 25 for a week.  What excursions are good?  Last time we cruised we attended the info meeting the night before on the ship and created our own excursion.  This way we were not limited.

    Lisa~

My husband, 14 year old son and I will be on the same cruise as you.

These are the excursions we have booked:

    PV:Exclusive Resort getaway

    Matzalan: Shopping,beach and lunch

    Cabo: Chileino Bay Snorkling

We wanted to do the pirate boat in PV but my son is too young

    Sara,

You may want to verify the age with Carnival for the Pirate Excursion in PV.

I went on it with my family in September 06, and my son was 9 at the time. It had some snorkelling, fun on a secluded beach, and cruising on a pirate ship with breakfast if I remember right (I know there was a mean involved).

He'd have fun...and so would you!

We did dolphin swim in PV which was great.  Snorkeling in Cabo and the boat was chased by hundreds of dolphins on the way back.  way cool.  I would go to land's end in cabo, use a water taxi.

    Re: Mexican Riviera excursions

We are going on the June 1st and plan on a Zipline in PV, Snorkling in Cabo but not sure what we are doing in Maz.

We did the pirate cruise in PV on an 8 day trip with Princess two years ago and saw several kids that all looked around 8-10 years old. Biggest issue was boarding the ship in the harbor from the small transport boat. The swells made the boat quite rocky and I could see where little kids might have an getting on and off the Pirate ship. The trip itself was a blast with my wife getting a featured role in the Pirate show on the way to the beach.

    Have Fun

This is the link directly to the Pirate ship in PV that we went on and it says kids as young as 3 can go. Not sure that this is the same one but it was a lot of fun. http://www.marigalante.com.mx/ Swing
