I personaly would like to see a Alcohol Drink Card that is like the Soda Drink card but for those 21 and older. I would be willing to pay $150.000-$200.00 per person for a 7 day cruise for wine by the Glass, A beer, 1 cocktail drinks at a time, and a small mixed Drink. You would have to pay your gratuities on the hole price of the card.

You can Purchace unlimited amount for the Duration of your Cruise. And Carnival has the right to cut you off if they feel you have had to many.

    One of my thoughts

i would love to have a time set up for children not to be coming in the piano bar or other adult places later in the evening.  carnival provides camp carnival and i would hope tht parents would consider this more.  we just came back from freedom and late at night (after 10;30) children were all over the ship unsupervised  mrs leu   ps  we take our entire family with grandchildren so i do understand travelling with young ones

I'd like to see the "Platinum" or VIP membership be based on the number of days on ships instead of by the number of cruises taken. The way it is now, folks who take ten 3 to 4 day cruises become platinum members with only 30 to 40 days on ships. Whereas folks who take 10 to 12 day cruises would have 100 to 120 days on ships before they become a platinum member.

    Happy Cruising!!

With an alcohol drink card, with the amount that some people drink on cruises, they would have to charge $1000.00 to make it worth their while.  And secondly, Carnival employees cannot even keep children out of the adult-only areas.  Do you honestly think that they would be able to tell a drunk adult that they have had enough and they aren't going to be served anymore?

ok, MYDUO you have not put a thing that you would like to change. And yes they do cut people off. They do it in Bars all over America. this isn't an option this is what you like to see changed. The cost over if 1600 cruises paided $200 for a Drink card thats $320,000 a Cruise for ONE 7 day Cruise. I am pretty sure they wouldn't mind looking at it?

So, if you don't have something you would like to see Changed please don't add any thing.

A common theme I've noticed in these forums is unsupervised children or children in the adult only areas.

Does Carnival offer adult only cruises?

    myduo,

On my last cruise, it was a group of six 21 year olds on a 4 day cruise. The most any of us spent was about $160-$175 on drinks. I get what you're saying, but I think $1000, even for a 7+day cruise is a bit of an exaggeration.  And the whole point would be just like the soda cards; if you get them you save some money but alot of people would not bother getting them even if they plan on drinking. And with as much as they charge for drinks already (and as much profit as they make off them) all they'd have to do is set them up so cruisers save like $50-$75 at least and they'd be worth it, without Carnival really losing very much.

Also, on my last cruise I saw several adults denied service at the bars several different times because they were too intoxicated. Most of the people didn't cause too much of a scene about it.

I'd also like to see more lounge chairs/space on the lido deck/pool areas. On days at sea you have to be up there by like 7am if you want chairs anywhere near the pool.

That what i am saying, your on a ship with at least 1300 people. lets say 900 are drinking and want the card. You are on  the ship for 4 or 5 days. you spend $200 for the 5 days and $175 for the 4 day.  For the for day Cruise the Ship makes $157,000.00 alone with out the gratuities. on the 5 day it makes $180,000.00 with out gratuities, and thats on the on each cruise on that 4 and 5 day cruise imagine what that would be like after a years time.  Thats bank! and people would pay that.

    But what do i know.

I haven't even been on my first cruise yet and I can tell you I would agree with that.  I'm extremely sensitive to tobacco smoke, almost to an allergic reaction where my sinuses clog shut, my eyes swell and run and my throat gets dry and scratchy.  In my perfect world NOBODY would smoke and we would all be "eating rainbows and pooping butterflies!"

Love Boat!  LOL!  I watched that for years!  Now Gopher (Fred Grandy) is a morning radio personality on one of our local AM radio channels, WMAL, he's really hilarious!  He was also an Iowa Congressman.  Great, now I've got the theme to Love Boat stuck in my head....

    Hi FirstTimers,

(In my perfect world NOBODY would smoke and we would all be "eating rainbows and pooping butterflies!" )

*** I liked that one liner so much it made me laugh. I was in police work for 25 years and thought I had heard just about every one liner there was but you gave me another to add to my list. I have heard of pooping bricks but never butterflies. That was good--Thanks for making me laugh****

I would change the way Carnival manages all the photos their photographers take of us passengers during our cruises. Carnival should quit printing out all those photos and have kiosks where we can view our photos electronically. We can then choose the pictures we want to purchase prints of or have them put on CDs. It's such a waste for Carnival to print all those photos that so many people never buy!

    Happy Cruising!!

Oh my gosh! What a wonderful idea.  It would seem that although people wouldn't be buying multiples -- more people would buy, less waste, etc.....
