I booked our cruise June 07, when we started our countdown clock was over 500 days. I'd read before that if your price goes down and you booked before the fuel surcharge they added the fuel charge. Oh well, it doesn't hurt to ask.
You know when we booked our first cruise in 06, it was funny we saw a Carnival commercial and it showed the website, so just out of curiosity I checked out the website. We were alway under the impression that a cruise would cost 10's of thousands of dollars and something we could never do. When I saw the prices, I was shocked the first price I saw was a 3 or 4 day to the Bahamas and it was like $259, I remember hollering to David, oh my gosh, a cruise is doable! We then ended up booking on the Conquest and it was $529. And I was so ignorant about cruising when I was on the phone booking, I asked my PVP if we were allowed to go off the ship at the ports if we didn't pay for an excursion!
My older son Matt is excited about the food, he's tall and skinny but he can put away the food. Skott wants to stay in the pool.
I took today off from work so I could clean our carpets, there's a swell use of a vacation day. Ha Ha (not) I'm taking a break now, I have Skott's bedroom left to do.
