awesome, thanks! Saved me $120!! You could pay for your next cruise at this rate!! What is your definition of finger foods? Do they provide towels?

I haven't been yet but according to my research they serve things like a variety the dips and chips buffet style.  Probably a little more substance then that - but I can't remember exactly what the person said - except they said it was fine for the limited amount of time you are there.

    Re: REEF CLUB BEACH RESORT

Their email seems to be hit and miss (I sort of expect it for this area).  I did get a response to my question and when I replied it came back undeliverable.  I just tried to respond again - we'll see what happens.

I can tell you that it is the same package - same food, same drink, same pool, same beach.  They only things that aren't the same is the price.  AutoProgreso is much cheaper.  Seems shameful that Carnival charges so much more to go to the same place.

When I emailed I wanted to know if shuttles ran throughout the day.  What they told me is you pick up your wrist band right there at their office on the pier - ride the bus into town and that the shuttle leaves approximantely 2 hours after the ship docks.  So it sounds like only one shot to get to the resort.  Coming back I thought I had heard people say you could stay longer but you would be responsible for your own transportation back.  Not sure if this is true or whether I would even attempt it.

    Hope this helps a little.

I was reading on cruise critic that if you did not book through

carnival that the food was not included and that it cost an extra

$15.00 pp.  Don't know how true it was but it might be worth checking into.  I was looking at this excursion also.  The cruise critic said that the Cornona beach was not as pretty as this one.

News to me.  Last I heard the Auto Progreso tour included food.  Try to email them directly.  It may take a few days to get a response.  If you don't mind please post the answer here.

EDITED:  Went to the Auto Progreso website and it states $45 - includes food.
