We've booked our first cruise on the Splender 01/03/09 for our family vacation!!  Just wondering if there is anyone else who has booked this cruise as well.

We (my bf and I ) will be on the cruise with about 8 friends celebrating an old college roommate’s 30th B-Day. For most of is it will be our first cruise.

The whole Nelson family is very excited to be booked on the Splendor 1/3/09.  There are going to be at least 32 of us!!  Hope you all can handle us...we are a fun group.  See you in January. 

Any chance that amongst the 32 of the Nelson Family there would be any kids around 13,7 and 5 tagging along?? 

We have mostly little kids...the two oldest are going to be almost 6 and one is a boy and one is a girl.

Thats awesome...great to know that there will be other kids (especially the same age) on the cruise!

My best friend and I just booked for the same date on Carnival Splendor!! We are in our early 20s and looking for guys and gals within a similar age bracket to hang out with while on board and perhaps go on excursions together, that would be lots of fun, who knows maybe we'll end up sitting at the same dinner table together This is going to be our THIRD Carnival cruise vacation in the past 2 years, and 3 is a charm on this glorious new ship. So hopefully to see you guys on board in 171 days ;)

 Goin' on that cruise with cruise_princess! I can't wait.  Even our travel agent ranted nad raved about how amazing this new ship is.

Definitley, they usually place similar aged people together for the seating.  Hopefully you have the evening seating (8:30pm) because that is the one we got :) 

 Yes we will be on this crusie as well, I'm counting the days until we go.  My husband and my son of 22 and daughter of 20 (21) as of the cruise and my self.  This is my 8th cruise with carnival and have loved everyone of them... we are addicted to the relaxation.  Hope to meet some others who will be there.

My friend and I are all the way in  Ontario, Canada, and the beauty of going on a cruise in the winter is escaping the COOOOLD!! So we are very happy to have booked a vacation on Splendor for January because that is when the rough weather steps in most of the time. You are right Lori relaxation is a key to a great vacation, you feel so refreshed in a day of being on vacation and your mind clears out and you just feel completely new as if you were born all over again :) It is a great feeling. Definately looking forward to meeting new people on this cruise and hopefully maybe some from Canada :)
