LOL Melissa I already mentioned that in an earlier thread :) but it's all good and it would be nice to hang out with people in our age group

 wow, the time just isn't going fast enough for this vacation.  Sad thing is....once that week is here..... it will fly so stinking fast LOL [:'(]     less than 2 months now, feeling like I'm going insane waiting.  Here in Michigan they are talking snow.......YUCK!  

Well just wanted to say HELLO to all of our fellow Jan 3rd Splendor Cruisers, (makes me feel closer to vacation to visit this site)

 May the days go fast to get here and may our week on the splendor go slow and enjoyable.

I know what you're saying when you say you feel like it's vacation when you visit here. I still 8 months.  You'll see the Splendor before we will.  Sorry about the snow, we don't get that here in SoCal.  Happy Cruising.

 Yes the snow is the worst.  It's been snowing since mid-October :( It really stinks and makes me want this cruise more than ever... the more the temperature drops, the more I want to go on this cruise! :)

This is my first time going on the cruise.  I will be there with a friend and some more people that I don't now.  We are coming from Chicago, Ohio and Texas. 

Were coming in from Atlanta. We will be driving in the day before. Im so excited!!

My sister, her best friend and I are all booked for 1/3/09. This is my first cruise. It's 10 degrees out right now here in PA.

 I'm totally getting so excited!  I'm all packed up.  Time to leave the "snowmageddon's" as the weather man has been saying, referencing all the multiple snowstorms that we've had here in Canada this past two weeks.  Right now it is currently -22 with the windchill.  I'm ready to leave! lol

 Melissa, I agree.... I am so ready to leave the snow and cold behind.  We are actually leaving jan 1 to fly to FL for 2 days of sun.  I have not packed yet, but thinking I need to get on it  LOL!  did you girls book your excursions?  I know Danielle is excited to go, but upset because her laptop just crashed (bummer) she was going to bring it with.

Well hopefully the next few days will go super fast and our vacation days not so fast.

 We haven't booked any vacation.  We want to budget ourselves and book our excursions on the ship.  I know that may be the long way of doing things (time constraints, lineups, etc) but we just want to see what we can do beforehand so we can budget and manage our time.  However! the boat cruise sounds so much fun!!   We're going to FL on the 2nd to spend a night there (Juuuust in case there is some 'snowmageddon' at least we won't be late for the boat as we will have a day and a half ahead of us).  I will let Danielle know which hotel we are at (since I don't really want to post on an open forum - lol) and maybe we're close by one another and we can hang out at the local shopping mall or restaurant?

There are 15 of us from Akron Ohio escaping the cold.  We will be arriving on the 2nd as well to enjoy the area nightlife.  I don't believe anybody has booked an excursion yet, but I do know we will be at the 8:30 diner.  Our group is in their mid 20's and low 30's and will be the life of the party. 

Hey Matt, thats great hope to see ya guys then :) Great that you all seem to be in our age bracket...someone to party with at least :)
