Destiny is the fifth Carnival ship that I have profiled on my site.  The others include Victory, Triumph, Glory, and Miracle.  It is interesting to compare the ships to see what is the same and what makes them have different characters.

Doesn't have the seaside theater yet, but should be getting it sometime this year.

It will be getting the seaside theater later this year when it goes into drydock.

Wow, thats a great site you put together. I'll be on the Destiny 9-17-09 and can hardly wait. This'll be my 3rd cruise but 1st time on the Destiny so its nice to see more of it, other than what is shown on the Carnival site itself. So, thanks! :)

We are sailing on the Destiny out of Miami, Florida on May 9, 2009.  How did you like the Destiny?  I am reading reviews that go both ways.  Please tell me we will not regret this ship?  Also, if you have any info for a heads up that would be great...this is our first cruise ever.  Thanks alot.

I just returned from the Destiny yesterday, and it was wonderful! I too, read the negative reviews, but was overly pleased. It was everything and more we had hoped it to be. People writing negative comments are usually the people that are hard to please about much of anything! You will NOT regret this ship-I promise!! :) Do you know your cabin assignment yet?

We just got off Destiny last Thursday and we had the best time.  There is something for everyone.  The service was great, food was good.  Who can complain when you don't have to clean or cook for 5 days and you get to be in warm weather.  You will have a great time.

Yes,  our room is already assigned.  We are going to be on the Main Deck  6C - Ocean View Room # 2275 & 2277 (adjoined rooms).  How is this location on the ship.  We are trying to upgrade to a balcony but prices are still alot higher.  What type of room and where were you?  Also, did you port at Ocho Rio and Caymans?  Did you do any excursions or have any advice on what to do when we port?

I must say that you  have some great pic's....but I don't see the TV and you can't miss that...What a large TV screen it is...I was on the DESTINY in Nov 08  and the BIG screen was there...When did you take those pic's??????...Great job. I had a GREAT time......MY Wife and I......Next trip MARCH 14th 2010 her Birthday.....
