Travelling from Dover on the Northern Europe cruise.  Does anyone have any ideas how to get to Dover??  There is nothing I can find with regards to information on the port of Dover on the carnival website.  Any info would be great and any suggestions re tours would be definitely welcome.  Thanks.

Where are you travelling from to get to Dover?  If you're flying in to London, I would do a 'pre-cruise' arrangement with one of the two hotels Carnival has agreements with.  You can book them through Carnival and arrange transfer to the pier at the same time.  I will be on this same cruise and that is what we are doing.  We will have 6 people in our party and it just makes sense to do it (for us anyway).  We cruised out of Rome Sept 07 and we did the same thing then.

Regarding the excursions, we haven't decided exactly what we're going to do but I know it will be fun!  This will be my 5th cruise with Carnival and my husband's 4th.  We are so looking forward to this!

Thanks for the info.  We are travelling from Toronto to London (still haven't booked the flights yet as I don't know whether to tack on a couple of days in London first).  Started looking at the excursions today and there are some great ones especially in St. Pete's.  There is a 3 hr train ride into Berlin so I don't know if i'm up to that.  I'm sure we'll start looking at them in more depth.  Glad to know there will be a friend on board!!!

You can get airport transportion from Carnival. Just call and have them add it on it. It's worth it. Alot less trouble then trying to find it on your own. We are going Aug 6th and booked our flights ourselves, but order the transportion from them. We going to into Gatwick Airport. They do also pick up in London.
