Has anyone done the zipline excursion before with wacky rollers? Was it as much fun as it sounds?
We have done the zipline last year I think in St Lucia, not at this port it was great and lots of fun. This year we are doing it again, in Antigua.
I did the zipline last year in Antigua. It was fun, but not what you expect. There were 9 lines over a dry bed creek. The longest line was 300 ft. There big attraction was the challenge course at the end. Most people didn't do it cause it is all upper body strenght and everyone was to exhausted with the climbing from line to line. The tour was not worth the cost for what you got.
I did the zipline excursion in Dominica last September. It was really fun. You move from tree to tree on different obsatacle course like challenges. They are all quite close to the ground. So if you are scared of heights at all this is the time to try ziplines. The guides were awesome. If you want something a little more daring (higher up with better views) try the zipline excursions in Antigua or St Lucia.
Well, I am a first timer and I kind of tricked my wife into doing the zip lining excursion in St. Kitts. I can not imagine that it could be more exciting anywhere else. It consited of 4 lines with the first one being between 1300 and 1400 feet. The Carnival online description claimed it to be 25 stories high. I am 55 and my wife is 62 and we will never forget the feeling of coming out of the trees over the valley (high!!) and zipping to the end! What a rush!
