This is one of my favorite ports.  The shopping is excellent and relaxing.  The beach area next to the shopping is has an amazing white sand.  Everytime I have gone to Cozemel I take a water taxi over to do my shopping and go to the beach.  This is a wounderful port that is amazingly beautiful.

Yup, I have to agree with you!  I'll probably do the same this winter when we're in Coz.  Actually, my avatar picture is of my dh and I at a little cantina in Playa - only complaint I had was we were only there for 3 hours.  We were actually SUPPOSED to go to Coz that year but Hurricane Wilma had JUST wiped it out so they changed our itinerary around and docked in the channel and tendered us into Playa.  With all the confusion and changes, we only had a short time there.  Soo, I'm really looking forward to going back with a bit more time this time!
