Jaime, Social Host aboard the Carnival Splendor

Jaime is a Social Host aboard the Carnival Splendor.  This means it's her job to ensure that you're having an awesome time, whether you're onboard enjoying the ship's amenities or heading ashore to explore your destination.  In this video she tells us a little about her job, and she also clues us in to some things that you absolutely must try while aboard the Splendor.  Thanks Jaime!

Hi Jamie I'm looking forward to sailing with you Dec 13th.  This will be my 4th Carnival cruise and I know each ship is different. I will be traveling with my husband and 11 yr old daughter.  I heard you say the steak house is great so I'll check that out.  What would you recommend for my daughter 's activities.  I'd also like to know what time has the ship been arriving back to port and how long does it take for debarkation I'll be staying on the Empress deck if that helps.

Thanks in advance for your help

Darla

Jaime, I have booked (3 back to backs)the 49 day tour around South America starting Jan. 31, 2009.  I have been on the Carnival Liberty for a 30 day back to back.  I am concerned that my wife and I will get bored on such a long trip.  Will the shows be repeated on each of the back to back cruises or will there be differenct entertainment on each of the 3 cruises.  Also, I understand when the ship is in port everything shuts down on board.  That is no good for those who do not want to participate in shore excursions.  Please let me know what Carnival will be doing to keep their 49 day passengers from getting board.  Thanks. ed walker, edmwalker@aol.com

Hi Ed, while the main production shows will remain the same for your 3 cruises, the headline entertainers will be changing.  We also offer a number of activities for you such as ballroom dance lessons, arts and crafts classes, and informative lectures from enrichment naturalists who will tell you about the history and points of interest for each of the ports of call.  All in all there should definitely be enough to ensure that you have a good time.  Have fun on the cruise, it sounds like an awesome trip!

Hey Jamie! I saw your video, I'm thinking of becoming a social host on a cruise. Can we get connected somehow so I can ask you more questions about it? Add me on my website and email me, Thanks, Bill.
