Chef de Cuisine aboard the Carnival Splendor

Sameer is the Carnival Splendor's Chef de Cuisine.  He oversees the food operations for the entire ship, from the crew mess halls to the Lido buffets, and all the way on up to the exclusive Pinnacle Steakhouse.  Sameer tells us a little about his job, and gives a few helpful recommendations as to what to try why sailing aboard the Splendor.  Many thanks to him for taking the time out of his day to step in front of the camera for us.

In May I spent my honeymoon aboard Carnival Cruise Lines.  Had a great time.  We had a wonderful Orange Lite Cake (made with Splenda).  I was wondering if that recipe was available on your website or if Carnival has a cookbook they sell.
