Hi, We are going on the Splender Jan 31, 2009 for over 40 days, starting in FLorida, and going around the S America Horn then back up to Long Beach, CA in March.

Anyone going on any of these 4 iteneraries, want to get together?

I am 46 and a nurse, also show and raise showpugs, Jerry is retired Air Force.

He loves to travel and I go when I can get away. I love the carribean, and also enjoyed the S. America cruise 2 years ago. Doing it again!

My first cruise was the result of the company I work for winning a cabin, a reward for purchasing sales. This really is not the best way to start your cruising memories. There are many different types of cruises available, a little something for everyone, unless you do not choose it, it may leave you with unfond memories. My second cruise via Carnival was the clincher. There was so much activity, and team spirit going on that I had a crick in my neck for a week from turning it this way and that trying to keep up. I may have gone on this cruise as a single passenger, but I was never alone. I have made more friends on these cruises than I have ever known through out my life, many of which I keep in contact with after the cruise. So far, I have been on four cruises, three of them on Carnival, and I can't wait to go again. I am planning my longest cruise ever, a 10+ days cruise. I pretty much have the cruise paid for, now I'm saving some money for trinkets and shopping. I can't wait. I'll let you know how it went when I get back.

The last night....Such a solemn time. I hate to think about it. It seems that the cruise takes forever to arrive, then it's over in the blink of an eye! I guess when that happens, it is just a reflection of the good time you had onboard.

Question...What ship were you on?

We just upgraded to the penthouse and are so excited yet have really been unable to get any real details about the space and pictures seem to conflict. It sounds like we won't be dissapointed by the upgrade. Thanks for your description.

Tuesday, October, 14, 2008 We are going Jan 17th. My 2nd cruise we are going with 52 church friends and family. It will be my parents 55 wedding anniversary. It will also be my first time as a travel agent. What a way to start my new career!!

counting the days 190 days to go. this is my third carnival cruise
