Systems Down for Deployments

Due to numerous deployments, our system will be brought down at 10:50 pm (edt) tonight. This includes all electronic channels connection, internal systems, Carnival.com (and all components - funpass, edocs etc) as well as BookCCL.

The system will be brought back up on Saturday at approximately 9:00 am on 10/18/08.

Jessica,

I was at a dinner a few weeks ago where Adolfo Perez said that the new BookCCL system would be available October 10.  Has the new system launched?  It doesn't look any different to me.

Hi Jason: It's so nice to hear from you- it's been a while! You are absolutely correct- we are currently working on a new BookCCL booking engine. We want to make sure that it is thoroughly tested before deployment, so it is not available yet.

I'm glad to hear your excitement; I'm very excited about the new enhancements also. Once it is released (which will be pretty soon!!!) I will post webinars highlighting the new features and enhancements for you to view. So make sure you keep in touch via the blog. =)

So will you be hosting a party for this deployment too (like you posted for groups online)? Let me know and I'll put on my dancing shoes! LOL!

Jason,

It was scheduled for deployment on the 10th (remember, I said keep your fingers crossed!).  There was a one week delay in the deployment (10/17).  Yesterday we were finishing up our Post Deployment Testing and we have two agencies who are currently Beta testing it for us.  We hope to release it very soon.  It shouldn't be much longer now.
