Did everyone have a good weekend? I did. I went to the Marine's Evening Parade on Friday night. My sister was able to get a few tickets as a special "perk" from her job. I got to hear "The President's Own" United States Marine Band and "The Commandant's Own" United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps. There were also great shows by the Marine Corps Color Guard, the Silent Drill Platoon and the "8th & I" Marines. I also got to shake hands with our Secretary of the Interior, Honorable Dirk Kempthorne. It was a very patriotic evening!
