We have just returned from this wonderful cruise on the Carnival Splendor around the southern tip of South America and around Cape Horn, disembarking in Santiago. It was so fantastic with the most breathtaking scenery! Your are right Jaime - rumour has it that the seas are so rough and the weather bad. However it was totally the opposite, and until someone has actually gone on this awesome adventure, they have no idea of what it is really like. Going around Cape Horn was absolutely thrilling, with very little movement felt on this huge magnificent ship. The scenery we passed by in the Chilen Fjords was indescribably beautiful and pristine, and for 3 whole days we enjoyed being up on the deck, so as not to miss a second of this breathtaking experience! The Splendor made all of this possible for us and we feel very priviledged to have been able to see and do what we did. It would not have been possible by any other means of travel. The Splendor was great in every way and we look forward to sailing on it again. Wonderful staff, food, tours and entertainment! Thank you!

I want to say thank you to all the staff and crew who made this cruise a wonderful experience. I have cruised a few times, I have to say this was a cruise I will remember forever. Thank you to all who planned and organized the ports of call and daily events. Sailing around Cape Horn and walking with the penquins will stay with me forever.I am only sorry I was not on board for the final cruise of the journey.

My Wife and I just completed the journey from Buenos Aries to Santiago. We had a terrific time. However, feel the smaller ports of Puerto Madryn, Ushuaia and Pureto Montt were spectacular. The people very friendly, the sites wonderful and an experience of a lifetime. The Tango of Buenos Aires is very romantic and lovely, but really feel the people and sites of the smaller ports far outweighed the romanticism of Buenos Aires.

Definitely want to return to these ports again.

Hi Jaime. We also will be on the Splendor 1/31 to Buenos Aires. You met our good friends Bill and Cyndi West on the Pride and gave them a behind the scenes stage tour. I was on the Carnival Splendor with my family celebrating my Niece's 40th birthday 6th - 13th Dec 08, it was fantastic. The shows were excellent they worked so hard and the costume changes were fantastic beautiful singing, dancing and all round performance. Excellent. Coral Smith, London

My husband and I will be celebrating our 30th anniversary on the Splendor. It is our first cruise ever. The ship looks like it is beautiful and full of fun. We are looking forward to sailing on her Jan. 24th. Can't wait to sail!
