My husband and I (retired),two daughters, and two of their friends have been booked on the Oct. 29 cruise from Rome back to America for over a year. We are SO looking forward to it! I love Carnival and this will be our 11th or 12th cruise, I think. We can't wait to experience the Splendor!

We were on this cruise. Sept.23- Oct.5/08. What amazing pictues!! Does anyone have anymore pictures on this cruise to post!! If so post more.

first. And We will be on the Splendor in jan.09 cant wait.

We are going on the Med/Greek Isles cruise Oct. 17th on the new ship Carnival Splendor and we are thrilled that John Heald will be the Cruise Director. We met him years ago and enjoyed him so. We also had the pleasure of Ken being on a cruise with us and just love that Irish tenor voice of his and anxious to hear him again. We have a group of 51 and are ready to party hardy! I met Ken on the Carnival Freedom, when we were aboard on April after Easter. He's a nice guy. The food at the buffet is good and it made me hungry. It's good to make friends there. We will cruise Carnival again in the near future.

I JUST WANT TO SAY THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR BLOGS! I WILL BE BOARDING THE CARNIVAL SPLENDOR ON OCTOBER 29TH, 2008 FOR HER TRANSATLANTIC CROSSING ALONG WITH MY FAMILY. THANKS TO YOUR BLOG AND PREVIOUS GUEST COMMENTS, MY FAMILY AND I ARE LOOKING MORE FORWARD TO THE SAILING THEN WE EVER THOUGHT POSSIBLE. WE HAVE TWO SPECIAL OCCASIONS THAT WE WILL BE CELEBRATING ON THIS CRUISE. MY MOTHERS BIRTHDAY ON OCTOBER 31ST AND MY BROTHER AND SISTER-IN-LAWS WEDDING ANNIVERSARY ON NOVEMBER 10. My boyfriend & I will also be on Carnival Splendor for the Christmas Celebration, we too have chosen Spa accomidations!!! It's going to be awesome, I am soo excited! I will also be celebrating my bday during our cruise. Can't wait!
